High School Graduates Prior to Inception of Program
A student who graduated from an eligible high school or completed a home study program pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20-2-690(c), and who first entered an eligible postsecondary institution between 2007 and 2011, may be eligible to become a Zell Miller Scholar.
To qualify, a student must:
- Have been named the valedictorian or salutatorian by his or her eligible high school, or
- Have graduated from an eligible high school with a minimum 3.7 Zell Miller GPA and earned a minimum composite score of 26 on a national or state/district administration of the ACT or minimum 1200 on a single national administration of the SAT, prior to high school graduation, or
- Have completed a home study program and received a minimum composite score of 26 on a national or state/district administration of the ACT or minimum 1200 on a single national administration of the SAT, prior to home study completion and earned a cumulative 3.3 postsecondary GPA after attempting 30 semester or 45 quarter hours of degree-level coursework; and
- Meet all other Zell Miller Scholarship eligibility requirements.
