Sheet Metal - HVAC Technicans

Sheet metal workers fabricate or install products made from thin metal sheets, like the ducts used in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) units. Understanding, adjusting and maintaining the fuses within those machines is the job of the HVAC technician.

• Sheet Metal: Sheet metal workers fabricate, install and maintain heating and air-conditioning systems, do architectural sheet metal work, construct appliances, heaters and boilers, and perform a variety of other jobs involving sheet metal.
• HVAC Technicians: HVAC technicians are trained to install, maintain and repair heating and air-conditioning systems, which control the temperature, humidity and air quality in most buildings.
