The Dedicating Resources to Educationally Advance More Students (DREAMS) Scholarship helps Georgia students overcome financial barriers and pursue their college dreams.
This need-based scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible Georgia residents attending public colleges, universities and technical colleges through the University System of Georgia and Technical College System of Georgia. Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and meet program requirements.

Giving in honor or in memory of someone important to you…
A special way to honor someone who has made a difference in your educational journey is a gift to the DREAMS Scholarship in their honor or in their memory.
When you give to DREAMS in honor or in memory of a loved one, they or their family will receive a notification of the gift and any custom note you would like to share.
After you select the amount of your gift, click the “Dedicate My Donation” link where you can create a special e-card for those you are honoring or their loved ones.

How to Make a Gift
- Click the “Donate Now” button above
- Select “Today Only” for a one-time gift or “Monthly” for a recurring gift.
- Choose the dollar amount from the pre-populated amounts or select “Other” to enter a custom gift amount.
- If your gift is in honor or in memory of someone, click the “Dedicate My Donation” link, select the appropriate option, and provide the name and reason for the gift.
- Complete your contact and payment information.
- Review the details and submit your gift.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your contribution along with a receipt for tax purposes.

What is the DREAMS Scholarship?
The DREAMS Scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible Georgia students with financial need, helping them pursue postsecondary education at Georgia public colleges, universities and technical colleges.
Your gift helps provide financial support to Georgia students who may otherwise face financial barriers to completing their education. Your gift adds to the state’s investment in the endowment fund, which will provide financial aid to students with unmet need.
Who can give to the DREAMS Scholarship?
Anyone can make a gift. Individuals, businesses, foundations, and organizations are welcome to support the DREAMS Scholarship.
Can I make a gift in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes. You may designate your gift in honor or in memory of an individual and provide notification information, if desired. Your honoree or loved ones of those who have passed away will be notified of the gift in their name with a special e-card you can design using this platform.
Gifts to the DREAMS Scholarship are tax deductible. Georgia Student Finance Authority is a tax-exempt instrumentality of the State per O.C.G.A. 20-3-313. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extend allowed by law. You will receive documentation of your gift for tax purposes. Please consult your tax professional to confirm.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation after your gift has been successfully submitted.
